Trailblazer Award – in honor of Colorado Latina “Firsts” who
have blazed a trail for others to follow. Criteria: Are the first in a specific area of industry, community, or expertise that has supported and advanced Latinas in Colorado. Extensive contributions to the Latinx community. Proven history of creating change and/or demonstrating impact benefiting the Latinx
community at the local, state, or national level. Demonstrated leadership in the Latinx community. Record of recognition by peers for professional achievements or legal projects in business, non-profit, or other affiliations.
Unsung Heroine – Colorado Latinas who have significant ties to Colorado and make a substantive, yet under recognized, contribution to our community. Criteria: Commitment to the Latinas First Foundation’s mission as evidenced by community contributions and impact. Demonstrated advocacy for the Latinx community through pro bono, community service, or other activities. History of advocating and/or advancing the Latina community. Served as a role mode and/or mentor to Latina women, girls, and others.
